February 2022
This month, I am excited to share a great new feature that just launched on our website. Trademarkive℠ is a one-stop resource that we have carefully curated from hundreds of videos, podcasts, blog posts, visuals, books, and more developed over more than a decade.

We have highlighted our best and most popular work on six key trademark topics to explore as you build and protect your brand:
  • Trademark registration
  • Choosing a brand name
  • The trademark application process
  • infringements & disputes
  • Bold brands
  • Trademark scams

I hope you'll check out the content we have selected and let us know what you think.
Trademarks bullies exist and can be a real challenge. Check out this video explaining what that means and how you can protect your brand from being bullied.
Building a Bold Brand Wheel
We've taken the eight types of bold brand names and broken them down into three categories (meaning, sound, and word combinations) to create the Bold Brand Wheel. Erik breaks each one down in this video. Check out even more tips for building a bold brand here.
While Super Bowl Sunday has passed, there were lots of interesting trademark facts associated with the big game, including the teams, players, and halftime performers (fun fact: each of the 6 performers has at least one trademark registration). Erik shares some interesting tidbits in this video.
We've been busy renovating our office space this winter - including the shredding of 10 file cabinets of old documents along with safe recycling of more than 150 pound of electronics. As part of the changes, we also replaced the awning to match our brand.
If there are any topics or issues you would like to see covered here, let us know!
