The marketing and branding of states and other localities for tourism and business has, it seems to me, grown significantly in recent years.  Attracting tax dollars has become competitive, and branding plays a big role.

Two recent examples I came across:

  • This fantastic logo on the side of the road entering New Hampshire.  Note the “nh” in the white space:

  • The slogan “Mountain Range of Possibilities” from Park City, Utah, which features a nice play on words!

As states and other localities continue to increase their branding efforts, look for more great logos and slogans from them!
