The Notices of Opposition were filed in 1989.  There is now apparently also an action in Italian civil court which has put the TTAB Oppositions into a suspended mode as well.

The trademark application process can take a very long time. But the rights in a trademark registration can potentially be renewed forever. Having a skilled advisor to navigate these complex waters is recommended.

I wonder if there are any older pending trademark applications or disputes at the USPTO?
