The second best reason to be a trademark attorney, in my opinion, is working with local businesses. I get to know many of these businesses through the local chamber of commerce. Many others have come to me through referrals. Working closely with local businesses is fabulous for a variety of reasons:
- I get to meet and work closely with entrepreneurs;
- I get to be a customer of their services or user of their products;
- I get to watch small businesses grow first hand; and
- I get to be a part of the local business community.
Here are some interesting local trademarks I have worked on (click marks for USPTO records):
- TINNER HILL
- MAKE LIFE WORTH FRAMING! – Framing of works of art, photographs, and other like decorative items; framing works of art services
- CLARE & DON’S BEACH SHACK
- GPHONE
- HARDCORE CHOPPERS
- VOTENET
- REAL ESTATE IS ROCK’N & ROLL’N
