What online trademark tools do you use? Other than the myriad of resources on USPTO.gov, of course!
Our firm has developed three different free resources for trademark attorneys, paralegals, and owners:
- GenericTrademarkPage.com: a web starting page with quick links to lots of trademark tools
- Apptorney: IP: a mobile iPhone app for accessing USPTO trademark and patent links (and other government agencies from around the world). Use it to search the USPTO TESS trademark database from your phone in just a few simple clicks.
- sofTMware: a cloud based website for tracking updates to USPTO application and registration records. You can track your own records, and/or those of your competitors or possible conflicts.
Of course, I am biased…. but I am not aware of any better online trademark tools. If you are, let me know! If you have suggestions for improving any of these resources, we would love to hear them in the comments below.
