This scam mailer below to trademark applicants and registrants just won’t go away. The name and details have shifted a bit over time but the essence is the same – and still worthless. “Trademark Edition” charges $1800 for publication, with payment via bank transfer only, and features an address in Hungary.
In nearly 20 years working in the field of trademarks I have not once seen, nor consulted, the “International Catalogue of Trademarks.” This offer is a joke, it serves no legitimate purpose or benefit for the trademark owner. This publication has no legal or other significance.
This publication has no legal or other significance. There is no telling how many (or how few) of these “catalogues” are published or to whom they are distributed. The “about us” page of their website is wholly devoid of any actual information. If first posted about this scam in 2012, yet it continues.
